It all depends on your budget, and what features you are looking for. If you plan to run the processor stock, you can get an A320 motherboard as long as it’s been bios flashed to work with 3000 series Zen processors. If you want to overclock it a bit and use extended PCIe lanes go with a B450 motherboard. If you want to be able to install a PCIe Gen 4 graphics card in the future, then get a B550 or X570. The X470/X570 Also give you even more features and overclocking potential. My personal recommendation is to pair the 3400G with a decent B550 motherboard with good VRM’s for overclocking and a bit of future proofing. I hope this helps. You can go with a cheap A320 or a B450. However keep in mind that there will no upgrade options if you go with the former. The latter will allows upgrading to a 3rd Gen Matisse chip. Not sure, if AMD will continue supporting the AM4 socket after that.
